1.About these terms

These terms govern your use of this website. By browsing it you accept them. If you do not, please stop using the site.

They cover the website only. If we work together, that engagement is governed by a separate signed agreement, which takes precedence over anything here.

2.Using this site

You may read, share, and link to anything published here. You may not:

  • Republish our content as your own
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its systems
  • Use the contact form to send unsolicited marketing
  • Scrape or copy the site systematically for a competing service

3.Accuracy of content

We keep this site accurate and current, but it is provided for general information. Technical opinions published here are general in nature and are not advice for your specific situation — a recommendation depends on context we do not have until we discuss it with you.

Where we describe delivery standards, security practices, or process, those statements describe how we work and we expect to be held to them. Where we have not yet obtained a certification, we say so rather than implying otherwise.

4.Intellectual property

The content, design, and code of this website belong to Servolane unless stated otherwise. Photography is licensed from third parties and remains the property of its respective copyright holders. Trade marks and product names belonging to other companies are used descriptively and remain theirs.

Work we produce for clients is a separate matter: under our standard agreement, all deliverables and IP are assigned to the client.

5.Nothing here is a contract

Nothing on this site is a binding offer, a quotation, or a professional-services agreement. Descriptions of services, engagement models, response times, and commercial terms are indicative and are agreed properly in a written contract before any work starts.

Submitting the contact form does not create a client relationship or any obligation on either side.

6.What you send us

Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through the contact form. Until a mutual non-disclosure agreement is in place, we cannot treat what you send as confidential. Tell us you need an NDA and we will put one in place before any technical discussion.

7.Liability

The site is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on its content or from the site being unavailable. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

9.Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always the one on this page, with the date shown above.
